I’m sad to say I missed being a
Generation Y entrepreneur by a
slither, and sadly fall into the X
category. As my business partner
(and husband) is just about in
Gen Y, I would like to think our business is a
good example of how the creativity and vision
of two 20 somethings back in the day, has
resulted in a thriving and established business.
I’m really keen now to look back and see how
the new batch of 20 somethings are doing;
they’re the ones to watch, and in this new
digital era they’ll be doing business in very different ways
from how we more established folks are.
In my new role as a Suffolk Business Ambassador, I have
pledged to highlight the skills and expertise in the county.
We are going to start by launching our 30 Under 30
campaign. We are looking for budding entrepreneurs
under the age of 30 whose stories we can track and
celebrate with them along their journey. Turn to page
10 to see how you can join in, and nominate yourself or
