PUNT OF NO RETURN<br />
<strong>NC</strong> State has been very stingy when it comes to punt returns in 2015. The<br />
Wolfpack has allowed just 17 returns for a total of 54 yards this season. That<br />
3.18 yard per return average ranks 11th in the FBS and 3rd in the ACC.<br />
Of <strong>NC</strong> State’s 62 punts on the season, only 17 have been returned (27<br />
percent). Of those 17 punts returns, only six have been for positive gains.<br />
The other punt returns against the Pack have either been for no gain or for<br />
negative yardage.<br />

BRISSETT HOLDS STREAKS<br />
In just 25 games as an ACC quarterback, Jacoby Brissett now holds two of<br />
the top eight interception-free streaks in ACC history.<br />
Brissett threw 187 passes without being picked off in <strong>2014</strong> - the seventh-longest<br />
streak in ACC history. He threw an interception on the Pack’s last play<br />
at Virginia Tech, ending his second streak at 241 attempts - the third-best<br />
mark in ACC history.<br />
Matthew Dayes<br />
The senior was INT free for 37 quarters, dating back to the Georgia Tech<br />
game on Nov. 8, <strong>2014</strong>. In the nine games following, he threw for 13 touchdowns.<br />
Wolfpack junior running back Matthew Dayes had a goal of rushing for 1,000<br />
yards in 2015. He was just 135 yards from that goal when he suffered a<br />
season-ending injury against Clemson on Oct. 31.<br />
Dayes’ 865 yards for the season is the 15th-best mark in school history. He<br />
led the FBS in rushing touchdowns earlier this season and his 12 rushing TDs<br />
tie as the 7th-best single season mark in school history.<br />
In the Wolfpack’s win over Wake, Dayes became just the sixth individual in<br />
school history to rush for over 200 yards in a game and his 205 yards ranks<br />
as the fifth-best mark in school history.<br />
Dayes could have been the Pack’s first 1,000 yard rusher since T.A. McLendon<br />
accomplished the feat in 2002. He is the first Wolfpack players since<br />
2002 to rush for 100+ yards in five games during the season.<br />
Jacoby Brissett<br />
Last season, Dayes was one of just three players nationally with more than<br />
300 yards rushing, receiving and in returns (Jamal Morrow of Washington St.<br />
& Temple’s Jahad Thomas were the others). He was the ONLY player nationally<br />
to reach those marks and also boast five or more touchdowns rushing<br />
and receiving in <strong>2014</strong>.<br />
