√ Rushed for 78 yards on 12 carries and earned his first<br />

career start in the win over Syracuse. He averaged 6.5 yards per rush.<br />

• Started the last two contests at running back.<br />

AS A RS - FRESHMAN (<strong>2014</strong>):<br />

• Reserve running back who took over the kickoff return duties in the last<br />

four games.<br />

• His 132 yards in kick returns vs. Georgia Tech rank 20th on Wolfpack single<br />

• Only true freshman to start on defense this season - he<br />

got the nod at WLB against third-ranked Clemson, 16thranked<br />

Florida State, Syracuse and No. 11 U<strong>NC</strong>.<br />

• Led the squad in tackles vs. Syracuse with 9.<br />

• Enrolled at <strong>NC</strong> State for the 2015 spring semester and participated in spring<br />

drills.<br />

IN HIGH SCHOOL:<br />

• Played linebacker and tight end for coach Doug Nichols.<br />

• Team posted a 13-2 record, was Florida 7A state runner-up.<br />

• Senior Stats: Totaled 132 tackles, including 70 solo stops as a senior.<br />

• Junior Stats: Recorded 100 tackles, including 58 solo and 17 tackles for<br />

loss and forced six fumbles.<br />

• Rankings: No. 66 middle linebacker nationally in Florida by scout.com. No.<br />

25 inside linebacker by ESPN.com.<br />

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015):<br />

• Backup free safety who saw action in 166 snaps.<br />

AS A FRESHMAN (<strong>2014</strong>):<br />

• Backup at free safety, he got the start at Louisville.<br />

• Tallied six tackles in just 16 snaps vs. Boston College.<br />

• Enrolled at <strong>NC</strong> State for the <strong>2014</strong> spring semester and participated in spring<br />

drills - he gained 30 lbs. prior to the season opener.<br />

IN HIGH SCHOOL:<br />

• Played safety and wide receiver for coach Wayne Jones, the team finished<br />

9-4 and advanced to the second round of the <strong>NC</strong> 4A state championships<br />

• Played in the 2013 North Carolina-South Carolina Shrine Bowl, where he had<br />

eight tackles, including one for a loss.<br />

• Selected to the Offense-Defense Senior Bowl, but did not play because of<br />

early enrollment at <strong>NC</strong> State.<br />

• Honors: Earned All-Piedmont Triad 4A all-conference three times. A 2013<br />

Associated Press all-state selection at defensive back. Named Piedmont<br />

Triad 4A Conference’s Defensive Player of the Year as a senior.<br />

• Career Stats: 328 tackles, 179 solo stops and 21 TFL, 12 INTs.<br />

• Senior Stats: 104 tackles, five TFLs, five interceptions, seven PBUs; 31 receptions<br />

for 424 yards and three touchdowns.<br />

• Rankings: No. 90 safety nationally by scout.com. No. 213 player nationally<br />

regardless of position. No. 13 outside linebacker nationally and No. 9 player<br />
