2 What’s new with the <strong>Upgrade</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>SAP</strong> BW <strong>7.40</strong><br />
overall stack changes<br />
• The ST-PI 2008_1_710 (and the Versions below) are replaced by the new ST-PI <strong>7.40</strong>. If you apply/update the Add-On in<br />
advance, make sure that the SLD-LMDB connection is updated, otherwise the stack.xml would be listing two <strong>release</strong>s with the<br />
same component.<br />
• The core components from the Gateway 2.0 Add-On are now part of the technical NetWeaver <strong>7.40</strong> Stack.<br />
• <strong>SAP</strong> Gateway Foundation <strong>7.40</strong> (<strong>SAP</strong>_GWFND)<br />
• User Interface Technology <strong>7.40</strong> (<strong>SAP</strong>_UI), furthermore at least one SP ahead of the current SPS overall.<br />
• The <strong>SAP</strong> CTS Plug-In 2.0 (<strong>SAP</strong>_CTS) is a independed component, which is related <strong>to</strong> the CTS system (optional component)<br />
• Note 2025686 - CTSPLUG 200: TMS dumps with CL_CTS_BOOTSTRAP_PLUGIN_MGR, CL_CTS_SERVER or CL_CTS_COMMON_TOOL<br />
• Note 2036254 - Dumps with CL_CTS_COMMON_TOOLS in <strong>SAP</strong> NetWeaver 7.02 SP15, 7.31 SP11 and <strong>7.40</strong> SP6-8<br />
