EDITORIAL
In 2016 it will be 100 years since Pilot Pardo achieved the
great feat of rescueing the shipwreck survivors of the ambitious
“Imperial Trans Antarctic Expedition” led by Sir Ernest
Shackleton.
What this brave sailor accomplished on his humble ship that
is now legend, is one of the most important landmarks of the
relationship between Chile and the White Continent. It is, as
well, another sample of how Antarctica has captured the minds
and hearts of people from all over the world who, drawn by
its mystic charm, are willing to explore its cold boundaries.
Today we are able to take off from Punta Arenas, pre-Antarctic
city by excellence, shortening each day the distance between
dreams and reality, flying over the Sea of Drake in a safe and
comfortable manner.
Fasten your seatbelt, relax and enjoy your flight, joining in
us in a new season of Adventure, At the End of the World.

En 2016 se cumplen 100 años desde que el Piloto Pardo
consiguiera culminar con éxito la proeza de rescatar a los
sobrevivientes del naufragio de la ambiciosa “Expedición
Imperial Transantártica” encabezada por el reconocido
explorador Sir Ernest Shackleton.
Aquello logrado por este valiente marino a bordo de la humilde
embarcación que es ahora legendaria, es uno de los
más importantes hitos que marcan el estrecho vínculo entre
Chile y el Continente Blanco. Es, además, otra muestra de
cómo Antártica ha cautivado las mentes y corazones de
personas de todo el mundo, quienes atraídos por su místico
encanto, no han dudado en lanzarse a la exploración de
estos helados confines.
Hoy, desde Punta Arenas, ciudad pre-antártica por excelencia,
despegamos para acortar día a día la distancia entre los
sueños y la realidad, cruzando el tempestuoso Mar de Drake
de forma segura y confortable.
Asegure su cinturón, relájese y disfrute del viaje, viviendo junto
