What's this world<br />
coming to?<br />
Is it coming to an end?<br />
It's scary when you don't<br />
know who or what's<br />
around the bend.<br />
But God can calm<br />
the heart and mind<br />
of every one of us,<br />
filling us with<br />
hope and peace<br />
when we simply trust.
<strong>Just</strong> trust.<br />
That's what Scripture says.<br />
We must trust<br />
that our loving<br />
Lord will bless.<br />
He will do for us<br />
what's best.<br />
There is no need<br />
to be stressed.<br />
Don't put up a fuss,<br />
just trust.
God knows everything,<br />
He can do anything<br />
for anyone anywhere.<br />
<strong>Trust</strong> and don't despair,<br />
for God is always there.<br />
God is everywhere,<br />
He knows your every care,<br />
every last detail.<br />
Why worry to no avail?<br />
For God will never fail.
When your life is<br />
turning upside down,<br />
trusting God turns<br />
the downside up.<br />
Don't rely on luck<br />
or the way you look.<br />
Look to what's written<br />
in God's Book …<br />
and His Book says<br />
“trust.”
<strong>Trust</strong> in the Lord<br />
with all thine heart<br />
and lean not on your<br />
own understanding.<br />
In all your ways<br />
acknowledge Him and<br />
He will direct your paths.<br />
{Proverbs 3:5-6}
