A Specialty Clinic for Pre-Diabetes,
Diabetes and Metabolism Syndrome
is also functioning in the Hospital for
p r o v i d i n g c o n s u l t a t i o n o n
preventive and promotive aspects of
d i a b e t e s , m a n a g e m e n t a n d
treatment to patients
Uroflowmetry Laboratory:
The Institute has a Uroflowmetry
Laboratory to calculate the flow rate
of urine over time and to provide
important information about the
condition of lower urinary tract.
Yoga and Naturopathy Unit:
A Yoga and Naturopathy Unit was
established under this Ministry
s e p a ra t e ly w h e re Yo g a a n d
Pranayam are conducted everyday
for better fitness of patients and for
general public.
Central Laboratory:
There is a Central Laboratory to
meet the requirements of various
investigations and tests, both for
OPD, IPD and Research Patients.
The investigation facilities provided
to patients include Hematological
Tests, Urine Tests, Biochemical
Te s t s , S e r i o l o g i c a l Te s t s ,
Sonography, X-ray, ECG, TMT, etc.
Sophisticated equipments and
instruments are available in the
Laboratory. Students and Scholars
also perform the investigation
themselves as part of their training.
Primary Emergency Care Unit:
There is a Primary Emergency Care
Unit functioning round the clock at
the main entrance of the IPD. for inhouse
emergency. A number of
Ayurvedic Drugs along with life
saving drugs, Oxygen and other
apparatus are kept in readiness in
this Unit. Patients suffering from
COAD (Chronic Obstructive Airway
Disease), Diabetes Mellitus,
Hypertension, Gastro-Enterities,
D i a r r h e a , D e h y d r a t i o n ,
Haemmorrhage, Trauma, Retention
Urine, etc. are treated. During the
year under report, 1292 Patients
suffering from COAD (Chronic
Obstructive Airway Disease),
Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension,
G a s t r o e n t e r i t i s , D i a r r h e a ,
Dehydration, Haemmorrhage,
Trauma, Urine Retention, etc. were
treated.

A separate Operation Theatre with
latest instruments and equipments
for managing various operations
was launched for the patients of
Department of Shalakya Tantra.
Panchakarma Unit:
This Institute has a separate fully
equipped Panchakarma Hospital.
