Ayodya Resort, Bali is one of the best hotels in the gated district of Nusa Dua and<br />
thanks to our hosts (FIG Indonesia), we are able to enjoy ‘local’ rates well below published<br />
prices. These exceptional rates can be applied to extended stays up to three<br />
days before and after our conference dates.<br />
Naturally our venue offers everything (and more) that you could expect from a five star<br />
resort including spa, gymnasium, world-class restaurants, beautiful gardens, private<br />
beach not to mention the spectacular open-air Balinese theatre where you can see traditional<br />
dances whilst enjoying an amazing buffet dinner. There is even a first rate golf<br />
course adjacent to our hotel.<br />

Thanks to our hosts, FIG Indonesia, we are able to enjoy very attractive<br />
room rates compared to advertised rates. By offering ‘local’ rates<br />
we hope that our delegates choose to extend their stay on this paradise<br />
island. Our room rates are available for three days before and<br />
after our conference dates.<br />

FIG Admin has prepared a conference ‘mini-site’ which can be accessed<br />
through your ‘members area’ pages. Just login as usual and<br />
click on ‘Register Now’.<br />
On these pages you can make your bookings and find basic information<br />
relating to our venue, conference details and visa arrangements.<br />
You can also view a list of delegates already booked.<br />
We have arranged all conference and room charges in USD as the local<br />
currency is currently quite volatile. FIG will cover any currency fluctuations.<br />

Day 2 - 16 March<br />

Formal introductions followed by a short presentation by our host Vanessa Lin.<br />
Our CEO, Chris Humphrey will give a short update on progress within the FIG family<br />
and future objectives and our guest speaker will bring exciting news....<br />
The remainder of the<br />
day will be dedicated to<br />
pre-scheduled ‘one-onone<br />
meetings’ which<br />
can be arranged two<br />
weeks before our conference.<br />
Meetings consist<br />
of 14 - 20 minute<br />
sessions with a break<br />
for buffet lunch.<br />

Day 3 - 17 March<br />
Fun Rally - ‘Out & About in Bali’ - 09:00 - 16:30<br />
FIG Admin has hired a whole fleet of VW Safari vehicles complete<br />
with drivers to give our delegates a chance to explore this amazing<br />
island whilst getting to know your FIG family members. Our<br />
family will be divided into teams and will be given a few tasks to<br />
solve during the day. BBQ lunch with soft drinks is served during<br />
our trip.<br />

Our FIG Meeting Scheduler will be available to delegates from<br />
(appx) two weeks before our conference. This is to ensure that any<br />
‘late bookers’ will be listed on our scheduler.<br />
For any delegates using this (very clever) tool for the first time - no<br />
need to panic… the whole process takes just a few seconds. Just<br />
click on the delegates you wish to meet and our clever software<br />
will build a schedule for you - just print your schedule and you are<br />
ready to go!<br />
If you need a longer meeting than the 20minutes allocated, simply<br />
book two meetings back to back. There will be plenty of opportunities<br />
to discuss business opportunities during and between our<br />
other activities in a more informal setting.<br />

FIG Admin will invoice by return after deducting any deposits and<br />

Message from CEO<br />
Welcome to our conference newsletter!<br />
I am looking forward to meeting our FIG Partners ‘old and new’ in the<br />
stunning venue secured with assistance from our hosts - FIG Indonesia<br />
Mrs Vanessa Lin…<br />
During our last conference in Dubai (2015) we explained that FIG Admin<br />
are keen to grow our group, not just by global footprint or by<br />
numbers but also in the quality and responsiveness of our global FIG<br />
‘family’. We made a commitment that we would be ‘removing deadwood’<br />
to assist in future stronger growth of our organisation.<br />
This is the reason that we have been seeking early commitment to this<br />
years conference. Those members that have not attended for some<br />
years (especially ‘key’ countries) and those demonstrating poor communication<br />
are currently being removed from our listings. We hope to<br />
replace some (or all) of these FIG Partners very soon with stronger and<br />
more reliable agents who are prepared to work closely with our members<br />
around the world for mutual benefit.<br />
We would urge all FIG Partners to support any new members and must<br />
remind you all that we cannot get involved in ‘issues’ relating to members<br />
who continue to deal with previous FIG Partners.<br />
Rest assured that this action will prepare FIG for the next exciting phase<br />
of our journey as we move towards becoming a multi-national branded<br />
forwarder organisation rather than just a freight network.<br />
