Flavorings<br />

• Coconut Secret Aminos Non-Soy Seasoning Sauce. Straight from the sap of a coconut tree, blended with sun<br />

dried, mineral-rich sea salt and aged until it naturally ferments, this is a great product to have in your pantry. It<br />

contains 17 amino acids and up to 14 times the amino content of soy. Best of all, it lends a rich smoky flavor to<br />

your vegetables. Coconut Secret also makes an easily digestible vinegar.<br />

Seasonings<br />

You may use a variety of herbs and spices <strong>for</strong> cooking, as long as they are individual ingredients rather than premixed<br />

seasonings, which often contain gluten, nightshades or other ingredients you should avoid. Avoid curry or any other<br />

premixed seasoning that contains chili pepper or other nightshades (eggplant, mushrooms, peppers, potatoes or<br />

tomatoes) or citrus ingredients. Seasonings that are allowed:<br />

• Basil<br />

• Bay leaf<br />

• Black pepper<br />

• Brown mustard<br />

• Chives<br />

• Cilantro<br />

• Cinnamon<br />

• Cloves<br />

• Coriander<br />

• Cumin<br />

• Fennel<br />

• Garlic powder<br />

• Garlic flakes<br />

• Ginger<br />

• Mint<br />

• Mustard<br />

• Nutmeg<br />

• Oregano<br />

• Parsley<br />

• Peppermint<br />

• Saffron<br />

• Tarragon<br />

• Thyme<br />

• Turmeric<br />

• Himalayan Salt or Sea Salt. These are great substitutes <strong>for</strong> traditional table salt. Most table salts have been<br />

reduced to two synthetic compounds - sodium and chloride - that can cause many health issues. Natural salt is a<br />

great source of minerals and may be used freely.<br />

• Organic Garlic Flakes. These little flakes can add significant flavor.<br />
