AD-8527 - Quick USB Adapter
AD-8527 does 2 things:
• Transmits weighing data directly from the RS-232C port of an A&D
balance or scale to the USB port of a PC
• Makes the data available at application level

It is much more than a plain adapter:
• Easy installation - "Plug & Play": No configuration change on PC.
No driver or software to be installed. Just plug it in.
• Easy operation: Each time your balance or scale sends a weighing result,
it appears on the screen wherever the text cursor is (for example in a cell
of MS-Excel, or in an entry field of your MRP application). From the
computer point of view, your weighing device is seen as a keyboard.
• Time stamping of data: date and time can be added to transmitted data

Quick USB Interface Quick USB
Quick USB is a USB interface for data transfer into your applications. It is
internally mounted in the balance. The function is the same as that of
AD-8527 in terms of easy installation and easy operation (see above). This
option is available for any A&D balance showing the above icon in this
catalogue.

AD-1687 - Weighing Environment Logger
• Simultaneous and chronological recording of environmental and weighing data.
Environmental data are produced by AD-1687 embedded sensors. Weighing data are
acquired from a balance.
• Four kinds of environmental data can be added to your weighing records:
- Temperature (°C / °F),
- Humidity (%),
- Barometric pressure (hPa),
- Vibration (mG)
• Large memory capacity of 10,000 data sets
• Graphic and numeric display of information
• Connects to balance by RS-232C and to PC by USB
• Time stamping of data
