The period of warranty is indicated for each product of this catalogue:
4 years (in case of products with SHS sensor), 3 years, or 1 year.
For options and accessories, the warranty is 1 year whatever the product.
SHS sensor: Speed, Precision, and Robustness
A&D developed this new sensor named Super-Hybrid-Sensor.
SHS is a hybrid body that combines the fulcrum and beam used
in an electromagnetic force motor type sensor and a Roberval
body built as one single block. This innovative approach (patent
pending) enables precision with faster response time, and
robustness. Balances with SHS have a 4-year warranty.
Signs and Symbols
"EC-type approval" for balances and scales that are legal for trade. Series bearing this sign have some or all of their models that are
approved for trade. Within a given series, the specific models that are legal for trade have their model code ending by "-EC.
With only a few exceptions, all our legal-for-trade products can be 2nd stage verified ex works.
