We have completed our FY 2011-12 review of the Jail Management System. The
review was originally scheduled as part of the FY 2009 Sheriff’s Office Custody
Command review. The specific areas reviewed were selected through a formal riskassessment
process.
Highlights of this report include the following:
Information technology controls generally comply with standards
Some application controls need improvement
Policies and procedures need to be formalized

areas reviewed, and the Sheriff’s Office response to our recommendations. We have
