Zurich Airport Terminal 2 Das neue, lichtdurchflutete Check-in 2 bietet Platz für 104 Check-in-Schalter. The new, well-lit Check-in 2 has room for 104 check-in counters. Aufwertung Terminal 2 Das Terminal 2 nahm im Jahr 1975 seinen Betrieb auf und ist nach über 35 Jahren um fassend saniert worden. Mit der Umsetzung des Projekts wurde das Erscheinungsbild des Gebäudes verschönert, die Passagierfreundlichkeit erhöht und das Terminal 2 sowohl betrieblich wie auch kommerziell optimiert. Die Gebäudetechnik, Fassade, Statik und der Brandschutz wurden den heutigen Standards angepasst. Am 28. Oktober 2015 konnte die zweite Hauptbauphase erfolgreich abgeschlossen werden. Die Passagiere kommen seither in den Genuss einer grosszügigen, lichtdurchfluteten Halle und können an einem der 104 neuen Checkin-Schalter einchecken. Die erweiterte Ankunft 2 bietet den Abholern nebst mehr Fläche auch weitere Sitzgelegenheiten und für unsere kleinen Gäste den neuen SWISS Kids Corner. Nach dem erfolgreichen Abschluss der zwei Hauptbauphasen befindet sich auch die dritte und letzte Hauptbauphase auf der Schlussgeraden. Diese dritte Phase umfasst eine neue rückwärtige Fassade sowie die künftigen Andachtsräume und den Neubau von zusätzlichen Büroeinheiten im Westen des Gebäudes. Der Abschluss für das gesamte Projekt «Aufwertung Terminal 2» ist für die zweite Jahreshälfte 2016 vorgesehen. flughafen-zuerich.ch Terminal 2 upgrade Terminal 2 began operation in 1975. Arrival 2 has been expanded and now offers people collecting passengers more seating and the new SWISS Kids Corner for our younger guests, in addition to more floor space. Following the successful completion of two main construction phases, the third and final main construction phase is also on the home straight. This third phase includes a new rear façade and prayer rooms, plus new additional offices in the western part of the building.
