I have always loved helping poker grow in popularity and have
been fortunate in that respect. Becoming a World Champion has
allowed me to become an ambassador for poker and increase the
game’s popularity back home in Australia.
Obviously my greatest poker achievement came when I was
crowned World Champion at the 2005 World Series of Poker, but
that said, whenever I am asked about the one tournament I would
love to win it’s the same answer every time – the Aussie Millions
Main Event.
So it is with great pleasure that I invite everyone at the World
Series to my hometown, Melbourne, Australia, for the Asia Pacific
region’s biggest poker tournament.
Crown Melbourne holds a special place in my heart, as it is
where I honed my skills as a professional player. There is a huge
range of cash games and tournaments to suit every budget and
you will find the Crown Complex caters to every need as well as any
casino in the world.
The Aussie Millions has grown from humble beginnings into
one of the world’s best tournaments. Thousands of players from
around the world have travelled here and not only enjoyed the
poker but everything else this great city and country has to offer.

Australia, and Melbourne in particular, offers a vast array of
fantastic restaurants and bars featuring the best of local and
international food and drink. You can also take the opportunity to
enjoy all the wonderful sport like the Australian Open tennis and
other great events taking place in Melbourne over summer.
