Description<br />

Throttling Present Capabilities Changed. Used to notify OSPM that the number of<br />

supported processor throttling states has changed. This notification causes OSPM to reevaluate<br />

the _TPC object. See Section 8, “Processor <strong>Configuration</strong> <strong>and</strong> Control,” for more<br />

information.<br />

Guaranteed Changed. Used to notify OSPM that the value of the CPPC Guaranteed<br />

Register has changed.<br />

Minimum Excursion. Used to notify OSPM that an excursion to CPPC Minimum has<br />

occurred.<br />

ALS Illuminance Changed. Used to notify OSPM that a meaningful change in ambient light<br />

illuminance has occurred, causing OSPM to re-evaluate the _ALI object.<br />

ALS Color Temperature Changed. Used to notify OSPM that a meaningful change in<br />

ambient light color temperature or chromaticity has occurred, causing OSPM to re-evaluate<br />

the _ALT <strong>and</strong>/or _ALC objects.<br />

ALS Response Changed. Used to notify OSPM that the set of points used to convey the<br />

ambient light response has changed, causing OSPM to re-evaluate the _ALR object.<br />

been enforced by the platform.<br />

<strong>Power</strong> Meter Averaging Interval Changed. Used to notify OSPM that the power averaging<br />

interval has changed.<br />
