Description
Type 2 0 4 - NVDIMM Control Region Structure
Length 2 2 Length in bytes for entire structure.
The length of this structure is either 32 bytes or 80 bytes. The
length of the structure can be 32 bytes only if the Number of
Block Control Windows field has a value of 0.
Index
2 4 Index Number uniquely identifies the NVDIMM Control Region
Structure.
Vendor ID 2 6 To allow loading of vendor specific driver. This Vendor ID field
should contain the DDR4 SPD Bytes 320 and 321 as defined
by JEDEC Spec JEP-106. Byte0 of Vendor ID corresponds to
DDR4 SPD Byte 320 and Byte1 corresponds to SPD Byte 321.
Device ID 2 8 To allow vendor to comprehend multiple devices. Device ID
field is defined by DDR4 SPD fields 192 and 193 (per JEDEC
SPD Annex L: Serial Presence Detect for DDR4 SDRAM
NVDIMM Revision 0.5 or greater (Item 2220.01). Byte0 of
Device ID corresponds to DDR4 SPD Byte 192 and Byte1
corresponds to DDR4 SPD Byte 193.
RID 2 10 Revision ID
Byte0 is Module Revision Code defined by DDR4 SPD field
349 (per JEDEC SPD Annex L: Serial Presence Detect for
DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 SPD Document Release 2).
Byte1 is reserved
Subsystem
Vendor ID
Subsystem
Device ID
2 12 To allow loading solution provider driver. Byte0 of Subsystem
Vendor ID corresponds to DDR4 SPD Byte 194 and Byte1
corresponds to DDR4 SPD Byte 195 (per JEDEC SPD Annex
L: Serial Presence Detect for DDR4 SDRAM NVDIMM
Revision 0.5 or greater (Item 2220.01).
