Consultation with Young People<br />

The Department of Education and Skills partnered with the Department of Children and Youth Affairs<br />

(DCYA) to obtain the views of children and young people. The consultation process was in<strong>for</strong>med by<br />

DCYA expertise in consulting with children and young people. Two facilitated consultation sessions<br />

were held in the National <strong>Digital</strong> Research Centre (NDRC) with 75 students:<br />

• Post-primary consultation held on Friday, June 6th 2014 with 43 participants.<br />

• Primary consultation held on Monday, June 9th 2014 with 32 participants.<br />
