What is Torskin ® ?
Sioen / S.A.T. have created a unique new product
range of cut-resistant / slash-resistant garments and
also a modular and combined slash-/cut resistant +
stab resistant T-shirt which is currently patent pending.
These products have been developed with the
support of a hight technical yarn supplier and
produced with the most advanced textile knitting
techniques. The outcome of this R&D has resulted in
a very comfortable, low weight and high performing
range of garments with a minimum of textile-seams.

Thanks to the high comfort and breathability achieved, these garments can either be worn as a base layer
(directly onto the skin) or as a second layer. The innovative hybrid yarn utilized within this textile material
produces a cooling effect when worn due to the properties of one of the components of this yarn.
