Almost at the southern tip of Istria, on its
south-western coast, the largest town on
the peninsula. Since Istrian history goes
back 3.000 years Pula and its territory offers
a variety of attractions to lovers of culture.

Pula is situated on the beautiful Adriatic coast
The city has a long tradition of winemaking,
on the southernmost part of the Istrian peninsula
in a well protected bay known by its Latin
name, Pietas Iulia. It is a city full of history,
where nearly every stone has a story to tell. The
early beginnings of Pula date back three millennia
to the Colchis seafarers in search of the
„Golden Fleece“ who established Pula some
3,000 years ago.
Much like the rest of the region, Pula has mild
climate and is famous for its unspoiled nature.
The favourable geographical position, history
and rich cultural and historical monuments
make Pula one of the most attractive tourist
fishing, shipbuilding, and tourism.
Therefore, the Finish Line will be in the Arena
with an energized atmosphere, together with all
supporters and triathlon enthusiasts. Have you
ever wondered what it would be like to enter an
amphitheater as a finisher? Imagine the deafening
sound, the excitement and the rush of adrenalin.
You will feel like a modern gladiator coming into
the Arena to celebrate your own victory!
