PUBLIC NOTICE
Avis est par les présentes donné que l'Association
des Gardes-Malades Enregistrées de la
Province de Québec s'adressera à la législature
de la province de Québec a sa prochaine session
pour l'adoption d'une loi aux fins suivantes:
Définir le sens du terme ' infirmière" dans la
Province^ en délimiter la signification et réglementer
1 exercice ou la pratique de la profession
d'infirmière, constituer en corporation professionnelle
toutes les infirmières qualifiées suivant
la dite loi sous le nom d'Association des infirmières
de la Province de Québec (en anglais The
Province of Quebec Nurses Association); et plus
spécialement les membres de l'Association des
Cardes-Malades Enregistrées de la Province de
Québec en vertu des dispositions de la loi 10
George V, chapitre 141 et ses modifications; assumer
toutes les obligations de ladite Association
des Gardes-Malades Enregistrées de la Province
de Québec et être substituée à tous ses droits;
déterminer les droits, pouvoirs et devoirs de
l'association des infirmières de la province de
Québec, ainsi formés, établir un comité de Régie
de ladite Association et déterminer ses droits
devoirs et pouvoirs ainsi que le mode d'élection
à suivre pour le constituer; déterminer la durée et
la qualité des cours, des études préparatoires et
l'étendue des connaissances et des études nécessaires
et les diplômes pour devenir membre accréditée
de l'Association et avoir le droit d'exercer la
profession d'infirmière; délimiter les titres reconnus
par la loi; en restreindre le port aux seules
membres accréditées de l'Association et aux seules
infirmières ayant légalement le droit d'exercer
leur profession, pourvoir au peines disciplinaires
pour infraction à la loi ou aux règlements; reporter
à une date ultérieure l'entrée en vigueur
de certaines dispositions de la loi; abroger la
loi 10 George V, chapitre 141 et ses modifications;
adopter toutes autres dispositions estimées
nécessaires, utiles ou convenables.

E. Davis, en sa qualité de seul survivant exécuteur
de la dernière volonté et testament de feu
Miriam Hadley Belasco, de Montréal, s'adressera
à la Législature de Québec, à sa prochaine session,
pour obtenir l'adoption d'une loi accordant les
pouvoirs nécessaires à l'exécuteur testamentaire
de ladite succession pour l'autoriser à vendre la
propriété immobilière, étant le lot N° 85 et un
tiers du lot N° 84, aux plan et livre de renvoi officiels
du quartier est de la cité de Montréal, avec
les bâtisses dessus érigées portant les numéros civiques
164, 166 et 168 est, rue Notre-Dame,
Montréal.

Notice is hereby given that the Registered
Nurses Association of the Province of Quebec
will apply to the legislature of the Province of
Quebec at its next session to pray for the passing
of an Act for the following purposes:
To define the meaning of the term "Nurse"
in the Province, demarcate its acceptation and
regulate the practice of the profession of nursing
to incorporate professionally all nurses qualified
under the said Act, under the name of the Nurses
Association of the Province of Quebec (In French,
L'Association des infirmières de la Province de
Québec); and more especially all the membe/s
of the Registered Nurses Association of the Province
of Quebec, under the provisions of the Act
10 George V, Chapter 141 und its amendments
to assume any and all the obligations of the suid
Registere«l Nurses Association of the Province
of Quebec and to be vested with all the rights of
the said Association; to determine the rights,
powers und duties of the Nurses Associution «>f
the Province of Quebec thus formed; to estublish
a Committee of management und to determine
its rights, duties and powers us well us the method
of election to be followed to constitute said Committee
of management ; to determine the durât ion
ant quality of preparatory courses ami studies
and the scope of the kuowh'dge und studies us
well as the diplomas necessary to become a duly
qualified member of the Associution, und to be
entitled to engage in the practice of nursing;
to determine the titles to l>e recognized by the
Act; to restrict the right to use said titles solely
to the members of the Association and to nurses
legally entitled to practise their profession; to
provide for disciplinary penalties for infringment
of the law and regulations; to defer to a later date
the coming into force of certain provisions of the
Act; to repeal the Act 10 George V, chapter 141
and its amendments; to adopt such other provisions
as may be found necessary, expedient, useful
or appropriate^

in his quality of sole surviving Executor of the
Last Will and Testament of the late "Miriam
Hadley Belasco", of Montreal, will apply to the
Legislature of Quebec at its next session f«ir the
passing of an Act granting the necessary powers
to the Testamentary Executor of the said Estate
to eanble him to sell the immoveable property,
being lot No. 85, and one-third of lot No. 84
on the official Plan and Book of Reference of the
East Ward of the City of Montreal, with the
buildings thereon erected bearing the civic Nos
164, 166 and 168 Notre-Dame Street East.
