En remplaçant l'article 500, pour que lorsqu'une
propriété a considérablement augmenté ou
considérablement diminué en valeur, l'évaluation
peut être augmentée ou diminuée ù sa valeur
réelle par les estimateurs, et la modification
homologuée par le bureau de révision après avis
au propriétaire;
En remplaçant l'article 501, pour que le défaut
par les estimateurs ou le bureau de révision
d'agir dans lc temps prescrit, n'empêche pus la
confection ou l'homologation du rôle par la suite;
En remplaçant «lans l'article 502 le mot "terrain"
par le mot "immeuble";
En remplaçant l'article 504, pour en éliminer
les références au conseil;
En remplaçant l'article 510, pour que le bureau
de révision aussi bien que le conseil puisse être
forcé d'exercer ses fonctions;
En ajoutant l'article 526a, pour que les dispositions
de l'article 526 s'appliquent aux agents
d'assurance;
En ajoutant l'article 527a, pour que dans les
cas où le conseil réclame l'amende et les frais,
l'amende soit égale au montant des droits ou
taxes allégués, et le paiement de cette amende sera
considéré comme paiement de la licence pour la
période;
En remplaçant «lans l'article 535 le mot "terrain"
par le mot "immeuble";
Pour permettre que tous les documents qui
doivent être signés par le maire et le secrétairetrésorier
puissent être légalement signés par eux
au moyen de facsimiles de leurs signatures apposés
au moyen d'une plaque de métal;
Et pour autres fins nécessaires.

By replacing section 500, whereby when any
property has considerably increased in value or
considerably decreased in value, the valuation
may be increased or decreased to its real value
by the assessors, and the amendment homologated
by the board of revision after notice to the
owner;
By replacing section 501, whereby the failure
of the assessors or of the board of revision to
act within the time prescribed, shall not prevent
the completion or homologation of the roll thereafter;
By replacing in section 502 the words "lot of
land" by tlie word "immoveable";
By replacing section 504, whereby the references
to the council therein shall be eliminated;
By replacing section 510, whereby the board
of revision as well we the council may be ordered
to exercise its functions;
By adding section 526a, whereby the provisions
of section 526 shall apply to insurance agents;
By adding section 527a, whereby in cases where
the council demands the fine in addition to the
costs, the fine must be equal to the amount of
duties or taxes alleged, and payment of this fine
shall avail as payment of a license for the period;
By replacing in section 535 the word "land"
by the word "immoveable";
To allow all documents required to be signed
by the mayor and secretary-treasurer to be
legally signed by them by means of their facsimile
signatures placed thereon by a metal
plate ;
And for other necessary purposes.

Loi 7, Georges V, chapitre 70, et amendements,
pour obtenir de nouveaux pouvoirs sur les matières
suivantes:
Créer un fond de pension pour ses employés
municipaux; vendre ou louer certaines parties des
chantiers et édifices municipaux; établir un
système special pour confection et paiement
d'améliorations locales; attribuer des franchises;
légaliser la perception de certaines amendes;
accorder des permis de taxis; former une commission
récréative.

will apply to the Legislature of the Province of
Quebec, at its next session, for the passing of
an Act amending its charter, the Act 7, Georges V,
chapter 70, and amendments, to obtain new
powers concerning the following matters:
To create a pension fund for its municipal
employees; to sell or lease certain municipal
works and buildings; establish a special system
for the execution and payment of local improvements;
to grant franchises; legalize the collection
of certain fines; grant taxi permits; form a recreational
commission.

obtenir l'adoption d'une Loi l'admettant à l'étude
de la profession de notaire sans se soumettre aux
articles 209 et 213 de la Loi concernant la Profession
de Notaire, chapitre 263, statuts refondus
de Québec, 1941, et régularisant le brevet dudit
David Gordon Gibb.

Notarial Profession, chapter 263, Revised Statutes
of Quebec, 1941, and regularizing the
indentureship of the said David Gordon Gibb.
