This term also designates any employee oerforming clerical work in book-keeping and accounts. III.— Working hours: — o»— The regular weekly duration of labour will consist of 66 hours for 6 days of work. Each funeral parlor shall determine the sixty-six (66) weekly working hours of its employees and moreover, shall deliver a written statement of same to the Parity Committee. The daily duration of labour will consist of eleven (11) consecutive hours. 6.— Any overtime work, in excess of 11 consecutive hours, shall be paid time and one half. However, the employee, receiving a higher re muneration than that fixed by this decree, shall be paid, for the overtime work he may perform, his usual rate plus 50% of the minimum rates established y the said decrree.

Taux de salaires minima: •• a. - Les embaumeurs employes à la semuiue sont payés un salaire minimum de trente sept ($"J7.00) par semaine, et salaire et demi uprès la onzième (1 le) heure consécutive tie t ru vail. b.— L'embaumeur ambuluiit recevra une rémunération de huit ($8.00) dollars par embaumement, s'il ne fournit pas le fluide. Dans ce cas, l'embaumeur doit fournir les instruments et les cosmétiques. c— L'homme de service sans ex|»érienee doit recevoir une rémunération de vingt dollars ($20.00) par semaine pour les quatre (4) premières semaines de travail, et vingt-cinq dollars ($25.00) par semaine pour les quarante-huit (4érience d'un employé ilie/. l'un ou l'autre des directeurs de funérailles, doivent être prises en considération par tout nouvel employeur. e?.—-Tout actionnaire d'une entreprise de pompes funèbres qui y travaille comme employé, est assujetti au présent décret, quant aux heures de travail, au salaire et au prélèvement, à moins qu'il ne soit directeur de ladite entreprise. fi— Le salaire de tout employé doit être payé au complet hebdomadairement et, si possible, le vendredi, dans une enveloppe sur laquelle sont inscrits son nom, lu date de la semaine de travail, le nombre d'heures rémunérées, le taux du salaire à l'heure et le montant contenu dans l'enveloppe. Celle-ci doit être cachetée et initialée par la personne qui a fait la paye. VI.-— Lors de la ratification de la présente Convention, le Comité paritaire existant, formé pour surveil'er l'application du décret antérieur dans la juridiction territoriale déterminé par cette convention, demeure en fonction et surveille la mise à exécution du présent décret jusqu'à ce qu'un nouveau comité soit formé. Ce nouveau comité succède à l'ancien et est investi de tous les actifs et droits dudit comité; il assume également toutes les dettes de l'ancien comité, en vertu dudit décret antérieur. VIL—Durée du décret.— Le présent décret entre en vigueur le jour de la publication •lans la Gazette Officielle de Québec et demeure en viectte date. Holidays: After one (1) year of service, an employee will be entitled to holidays consisting of seven (7) consecutive days, with pay. b.— -i niforms: -- If companies or funeral directors wish their employees to wear uniforms, they shall supply same without charge to the employees. c.— Weekly rest:— Employees will be entit led to a complete day of rest (24 hours) every week. d.— - Yeurs of experience of an employee with any of the funeral directors shall be taken into consideration by every new employer* e. - Shareholders of a funeral undertaking working as employees shall be subject to the provisions of the decree with regard to working hours, wages and levy unless they l>e directors of the concern. /.— The wages of any employee shall be paid, completely, each week and, if possible, on Friday, in an envelope on which his name, the date of the week of labour, the number of hours paid, the wage rates by the hour and the amount contained therein shall be mentioned. The latter shall be sealed and initialed by the payclerk. VI.-- Upon the ratification of the present agreement, the existing Parity Committee organized to carry out the previous decree in the territorial jurisdiction contemplated by this agreement, will remain in office and burpervise the carrying out of the present decree until a new committee is formed, which shall succeed to and be vested with all the assets and rights of the former committee; it shall assume all the liabilities of the former Committee under the said previous decree. VII.— Duration of the decree.- The present decree will come into force on the day of its publication in the Quebec Official Gazette ans will remain in force for a period of one (1) year from thai date.
