Un (1) membre auxiliaire recommandé par le
( 'entre d'Apprentissage des Métiers de la Construction
de Montréal.
3. Définition de: « Membre Auxiliaire »: Un
membre auxiliaire est un membre recommandé
pur une partie non contractante au décret,
agissant à titre consultatif seulement.
1. Terme d'office: Les membres du comité sont
nommés pour une période de deux (2) ans et
IK-iivcnt être renommés pour d'autres périodes
sur recommandation écrite des parties concernées.
ô. Vacance ou démission: Lorsqu'il y a vacance
ou démission au sein du Comité, le Comité
Conjoint de la Construction de Montréal devra
remplacer ce membre par un autre sur recommandation
écrite de la partie concernée. Tout
représentant faisant partie du Comité sera démis
de ses fonctions par le Comité Conjoint de la
Construction de Montréal en tout temps sur
recommandation écrite de la partie concernée.
ti. Rémunération aux membres du comité: Le
Comité conjoint devra attribuer une rémunération
(jeton de présence et frais) à tout membre
du comité permanent en compensation pour ses
services. Toutefois, cette rémunération ne devra
pas être supérieure à celle établie d'après les
nonnes du Comité Conjoint pour ses membres.
7. Règlements internes du comité: Le comité
d'apprentissage à sa première assemblée se
nommera un président et un vice-président qui
resteront en fonction pour un (1) an. Chaque
année le Comité permanent devra se choisir un
nouveau président et un nouveau vice-président
si les officiers de l'année précédente ne sont pas
maintenus en fonction.

Sur recommandation du comité permanent
d'apprentissage, le Comité Conjoint devra
nommer un coordinateur permanent qu'il rémunérera
sur une base de salaire hebdomadaire.
Ce coordinateur devra bénéficier de la confiance
de la majorité des travailleurs de l'industrie.
En plus, le Comité Conjoint lui fournira un
bureau et tous les services et commodités de
secrétariat qui seront jugés nécessaires.
8. Pouvoirs et devoirs du comité: a) Le Comité
Permanent d'Apprentissage a le pouvoir et le
devoir de mettre en application les règlements
d'apprentissage présents et futurs du décret,
section « A », pour la région de Montréal.
b) Le Comité a le pouvoir de faire des ententes
avec le Bureau de Montréal de la Loi des Mécaniciens
en Tuyauterie et avec la Ville de Montréal,
division de la plomberie, pour l'émission,
le renouvellement, la suspension, le non renouvellement
des licences d'apprentis, suivant les
nonnes établies dans le décret, section « A »,
pour la région de Montréal.
c) IAÎ comité a le pouvoir de conclure des
ententes avec les gouvernements fédéral et
provincial en vue de financer le programme
d'aide ù l'apprentissage.
d) Le Comité permanent devra voir à ce que
le Comité consultatif organise et maintienne des
cours dans un programme défini combinant la
pratique et la théorie.
e) Le Comité permanent devra déterminer les
effectifs réels des apprentis de première et
seconde catégorie.
/) Le Comité Permanent devra exercer une
surveillance sur les apprentis quant:

3. Auxiliary member: The words "auxiliary
member" mean a member recommended by a
non-contracting party to the decree. Auxiliary
members shall be advisory members only.
4. Term of office: The members of the Committee
are appointed for a two (2) year term,
ami may be reappointed for additional terms
upon written recommendation by the parties
concerned.
5. Vacancy or resignation: If a vacancy or
resignation occurs within the Apprenticeship
Committee, the Building Trades Joint Committee
of Montreal shall replace the missing member
by another person recommended in writing by
the party concerned. Any representative on the
Committee shall be destituted by the Building
Trades Joint Committee of Montreal upon
written recommendation by the party concerned.
6. Remuneration of Members of Committee:
The Joint Committee shall remunerate the
members of the Permanent Committee by
giving them attendance fees and expenses for
their services. However, this remuneration shall
not exceed that established according to the
standards of the Joint Committee for the remuneration
of its members.
7. Administration of Committee: Internal regulations:
At its first meeting the Apprenticeship
Committee shall apopint a president and a vicepresident
who will remain in office for one (1)
year. Each year thereafter, the Committee will
appoint a new president and a new vice-president
if the officers appointed the preceding year
are not maintained in office.
The Permanent Committee has the power to
adopt regulations to carry out its internal administration.
Upon the recommendation of the Apprenticeship
Permanent Committee, the Joint Committee
shall appoint a permanent coordinator
who will be remunerated on a weekly wage basis.
The coordinator must have the confidence of the
majority of the workers in the industry. Moreover,
the Joint Committee will supply him with
an office and all secretarial services and conveniences
as may be deemed necessary.
8. Powers and duties of Committee: (a) The
Apprenticeship Permanent Committee has the
authority and duty to apply the present and
futur regulations governing apprenticeship under
Section "A" of the decree for the Montreal
region.
(b) The Committee has the authority to make
agreements with the Department of Labour and
the Plumbing Division of the city of Montreal
for the issuance, renewal, suspension and nonrenewal
of apprentices' licences according to
the standards established in Section "A" of the
decree for Montreal region.
(c) The Committee is empowered to make
agreements with the federal and provincial
governments regarding the financing of a programme
of assistance to apprenticeship.
(rf) The Permanent Committee shall see to it
that the Advisory Committee organizes and
maintains courses within a definite programme
combining practice and theory.
(e) The permanent Committee shall determine
the real number of apprentices of the first
and second categories.
