110. Le nombre d'apprentis par salon <strong>de</strong><br />
( oiffure pour hommes ne doit jamais dépasser<br />
la limite suivante:<br />
Un (1) apprenti dans un salon où travaillent<br />
régulièrement moins <strong>de</strong> quatre (4) coiffeurs pour<br />
hommes, classe « A ».<br />
Deux (2) apprentis dans un salon où travaillent<br />
régulièrement au moins quatre (4) coiffeurs pour<br />
hommes, classe « A ».<br />
Toutefois, dans les salons où travaillent régulièrement<br />
au moins sept (7) coiffeurs pour hommes,<br />
classe « A », l'employeur peut embaucher<br />
un troisième (3e) apprenti au lieu et place «lu<br />
coiffeur pour hommes, classe « B ».<br />
111. Proportion <strong>de</strong>s coiffeurs pour hommes,<br />
liasse « B »: Il ne doit pas y avoir plus d'un coiffeur<br />
pour hommes, classe « B » dans un salon<br />
<strong>de</strong> coiffure pour hommes.<br />
112. L'apprenti doit se présenter au comité<br />
paritaire à chaque pério<strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong> six (0) mois pour<br />
taire vérifier son carnet d'apprenti.<br />
Le comité paritaire ne reconnaîtra que les<br />
pério<strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong> travail dûment inscrites par l'employeur,<br />
dans le earner «l'apprenti.<br />
Jours chômés<br />
113. Tout travail professionnel est interdit les<br />
dimanches, le premier jour <strong>de</strong> l'An, le 2 janvier,<br />
l«' lundi <strong>de</strong> Pâques, la fête <strong>de</strong> la Reine, la Saint -<br />
•lean-Baptiste, le premier juillet (Confédération),<br />
la fête du Travail, le jour d'Actions <strong>de</strong> Grâces,<br />
Noël et le 26 décembre, nonobstant les dispositions<br />
«lu <strong>de</strong>rnier paragraphe <strong>de</strong> l'article 102.<br />
( ongé payé annuel<br />
114. L'employeur doit donner un congé payé<br />
annuel d'une durée d'une (1) semaine, à tout employé<br />
permanent qui a été à son service pendant<br />
11 année entière, sans perte <strong>de</strong> temps, sauf pour<br />
<strong>de</strong>s raisons valables.<br />
L'in<strong>de</strong>mnité payable est <strong>de</strong> trois pour cent (3%)<br />
du salaire global gagné par le salarié, avant toutes<br />
déductions, pendant la pério<strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong> référence lui<br />
donnant droit au congé, cette clause ne prenant<br />
effet qu'à compter <strong>de</strong> la sanction du décret.<br />
115. Lorsque l'employé permanent a servi<br />
moins d'une (1) année, il a droit ù autant <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>mijournée<br />
(J^) <strong>de</strong> congé qu'il a <strong>de</strong> mois <strong>de</strong> service,<br />
et à une in<strong>de</strong>mnité <strong>de</strong> congé égale à trois pour<br />
cent (3%) du salaire global gagné.<br />
110. Lorsqu'un employeur se trouve dans<br />
l'impossibilité <strong>de</strong> trouver un remplaçant ù un<br />
salarié pour la durée <strong>de</strong> son congé, il lui est permis,<br />
avec le consentement du comité paritaire, <strong>de</strong><br />
remplacer la semaine <strong>de</strong> congé par l'in<strong>de</strong>mnité<br />
compensatrice à laquelle le salarié a droit.<br />
117. Pour chaque congé annuel pris et payé,<br />
ou remplacé par une in<strong>de</strong>mnité, la pério<strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong> réfé-<br />

Number of<br />
apprentices<br />
110. The number of apprentices in any men's<br />
hairdressing salon shall never exceed the following<br />
limit :<br />
One tl) apprentice in a salon regularly employing<br />
less than four (4) Class "A" men's hairdressers.<br />
Two (2) apprentices in any salon regularly<br />
employing a1 least four (4) Class *'A" men's<br />
hairdressers.<br />
However, in salons regularly employing at<br />
least seven (7) Class *\\" men's hairdressers,<br />
the employer may hire a third (3rd) apprentice<br />
instead of the Class "11" men's hairdresser.<br />
111. Number of Class "B" men's hairdressers:<br />
In any men's hairdressing salon, there shall not<br />
be more than one ( 1 ) Class "li" men's hairdresser.<br />
112. The apprentice shall appear before the<br />
Parity Committee at every six (0) month period<br />
to have his apprenticeship booklet examined.<br />
The Parity Committee will acknowledge only<br />
the work periods which the employer has duly<br />
entered in the apprenticeship booklet.<br />
Non working days<br />
113. Notwithstanding the provisions of the<br />
last sub-section of section 102, no work hereby<br />
governed shall he performed on Sunday, New<br />
Year's day. January 2nd. Easter Monday, the<br />
Queen's Birthday, St. .lean Baptiste Day. July<br />
1st (Confe<strong>de</strong>ration Day), Labour Day, Thanksgiving<br />
Day, Christmas Day ami December<br />
20th.<br />
Annual meat ion with pay<br />
111. The employer shall give one (I) week's<br />
annual vacation with pay to every permanent<br />
employee who has been a whole year in his<br />
employ without loss of time except for g«>«» his<br />
credit he is entitled to as many half ('•_>) days<br />
annual vacation as the number of his months of<br />
service. He is also entitled to vacation pay equal<br />
to three per cent (3%) of his total earnings.<br />
116. When an employer is unable t«> fiml a<br />
substitute for an employee for the time of the latter'<br />
sannual vacation, he may, with the consent<br />
of the Parity Committee, replace the said week's<br />
vacation by the vacation pay to which the employee<br />
is entitled.<br />
117. For each annual vacation taken with pay<br />
