CHAPTER VIII
The Sheriff
2ô. The sheriff keeps in his office u register of
the writs of execution, stating their nature and
the names «if the parties ami the oppositions, as
well as a register of notices given in virtue of
articles 070 and 071 of the Code of Civil Procedure.
26. The sheriff, when he receives a proceeding
or an exhibit, numbers it and endorses the «late
thereon over his initials.
CHAPTER IX
Suretyships
27. Security for costs may l>e replaced by the
deposit in the office of the Court of a sum of
money. The judge fixes ami increases, if necessary,
the amount thereof.
28. Articles 525 and following of the Code of
Civil Procedure apply to all judicial suretyships.
CHAPTER
Tariff of Fees for Commissioners
and other Officers
29. Umler reserve of the second paragraph of
article 47 of the Code of Civil Procedure, tlacommissioners
and other officers appointed by
the Court shall be remunerated as follows:
for administering the oath $ 2.00
for deposit of report (when required).. . 10.00
for each day of attendance, including
preparation of report 30.00
