dated October 1, 1901, ami redeemable
serially from October 1. 1902 to October 1,
1981 inclusively, with interest at a rat«- not leas
than 5% nor more than 0%, payable semiannually
on April 1 and October 1 «>f each year.
The rate of interest may be the same for the wlude
issue or it may vary according to maturities.
Resolution «lat«-«l May 19. 1901. as amended
— purchase «if lots of land.
For adjudication purposes only, interest shall
be calculated as from October 1, 1901.

Moreover, tenders may be forwarded and shall
be considère»! as ten-year short-term and fifteenyear
short-term bonds. However, tenders shall
be considered f«>r one of the three terms only.
Adjudication shall be made according t«) law.
The successful tcn«lere«! agrees to pay f«>r the
bonds, principal ami accrued interest, if any by
certified cheque payable at par at (iatineau,
county of l'apineau.
Capital and interest are payable at all the
branches in the Province of Quebec of the bank
mentioned in the loan resolution, as well as at
the head office of the said bank at Toronto and
at Ottawa.
The said bonds will not be redeemable by anticipation.
Each temler must be accompanied by a certified
cheque equal to 1% of the amount of the
present issue and must specify whether interest
accrued on the bonds to the date of their delivery
is inclu«!e«! or not in the price of the temler.
The tenders will be opened and considered
at a meeting of the school commissioners to be
held on Wednesday, September 27, 1961, at
8:00 o'clock p.m., at the Town Hall. 280 Maloney
Boulevard, Gatineau, county of Papineau.
