Trois-Rivières, August 13, 1965. 11785-34-2 Avis ViRage d'Ayereville Avis est par les présentes donné qu'en date du 3 août 1965, le Conseil Municipal du village d'Ayereville a adopté un règlement pourvoyant à la fusion de la Corporation Municipale du village d'Ayereville et la ville de Lachute, conformément à la loi de la fusion volontaire des municipalités (Bill 13.) Ce règlement autorise la présentation d'une requête conjointe au lieutenant-gouverneur en conseil le priant d'octroyer des lettres patentes fusionnant la Corporation Municipale de la ville de Lachute et la Corporation Municipale du village d'Ayereville, et créant une nouvelle municipalité de cité désignée sous le nom de « Cité de Lachute ». Le territoire de la cité de Lachute comprendra le territoire actuel de la Corporation Municipale de la ville de Lachute et de la Corporation Municipale du village d'Ayereville. La cité de Lachute sera régie par la Loi des cités et villes et sera divisée en trois quartiers et elle sera administrée par un conseil composé d'un maire et de six échevins. La première élection générale du Maire et des Échevins aura lieu le premier dimanche de novemher 1965. Le Conseil de la cité de Lachute, dès la première année après la fusion et chaque année subséquente jusqu'à l'extinction de la dette appropriera à même le fonds général les montants nécessaires pour rembourser en capital et intérêts les emprunts décrétés par les règlements 183, 192, 202, 215, 221 et 226 de la ville de Lachute, ainsi que les règlements numéros 27, 34, 35, 39, 52, 57, 61, 85 et 96 de la Corporation Municipale du Village d'Ayereville. Il peut être pris connaissance du règlement décrétant la fusion ainsi que la requête conjointe au bureau du secrétaire-trésorier à l'Hôtel de Ville de la Corporation Municipale du village d'Ayereville. Les propriétaires peuvent s'opposer à la fusion durant le mois qui suit celui des publications requises par la loi, et faire connattre les motifs de leur opposition en s'adressant par écrit à la Commission Municipale de Québec, Hôtel du Gouvernement, Province de Québec. Ville de Lachute Avis est par les présentes donné qu'en date du 29 juillet 1965, le Conseil Municipal de la ville Notices Village of Ayersville Notice is hereby given that on August the 3. 1965, the Municipal Council of the village of Ayersville passed a by-law providing to the amalgamation of the Municipal Corporation of the village of Ayersville and of the town of Lachute, according to the Voluntary Amalgamation of Municipalities Act (Bill 13.) This by-law authorizes the presentation of a joint petition to the Lieutenant-Governor in Council praying for the granting of letters patents amalgamating the Municipal Corporation of the town of Lachute and the Municipal Corporation of the village of Ayersville and creating a new city known as "The City of Lachute". The territory of the city of Lachute shall include the actual territory of the Municiapal Corporation of the town of Lachute and of the Municipal Corporation of the village of Ayersville. The city of Lachute shall be governed by the cities and towns Act and shall be divided into three Wards and shall be administered by a Mayor and six Aldermen. The first general election shall be held on the first Sunday of November 1965. The first year and each subsequent year after the amalgamation, until the full payment of the debt, the Municipal Council of the city of Lachute shall use the general funds of the city to reimburse in principal and interests the loans authorized by by-laws numbers 183, 192, 202, 215, 221 and 226 of the town of Lachute and also by by-laws numbers 27, 34 35, 39, 52, 57, 61, 85 and 96 of the Municipal Corporation of the village of Ayersville. This by-law providing to the amalgamation and the joint petition may be examined at the office of the Secretary-Treasurer, at Ayersville's Town Hall. The property-owners may object to the amalgamation during the month following the month during which the notices required by law were published, by indicating the grounds of their objection, in writing, to the Quebec Municipal Commission, Parliament Building, Province of Quebec.
