Governor in Council has been pleased to make,
by Commissions under the Great Seal of the Province,
the following appointments.

de la reine, de la ville de Montréal: nommé, en
vertu de l'article 207 de la lA>i des tribunaux
judiciaires (Statuts refondus, 1941, chapitre 15),
juge de district avec juridiction dans toute lu
province, mais tout particulièrement et sans
restriction, dans le district judiciaire de Montréal,
et pour agir, dans le province, selon l'article
21 de la loi 1-2 Klizal>eth II, chapitre 20,
comme magistrat de district en ce qui concerne
les juridictions attribuées par les lois du Parlement
du Canada aux magistrats de «listrict, que
«•es juridictions leur soient attribuées sous le
titre de « Magistrat > ou sous celui de « Magistrat
de district avec résidence dans la ville «le
Montréal ou dans les environs, le«lit M. .1. Alfred
Crowe, vu sa présente nomination par le
lieutenant-governeur en conseil comme juge «le
district, «Haut autorisé à exercer, sous l'autorité

(Revised Statutes, 1941, chapter 15) «listrict
judge with jurisdiction in ull the province, but
particularly ami without restriction, in the ju«licial
«listrict of Montreal, ami to act, in the Proviiuv,
according to section 21 of Act 1-2 Elisabeth
11, Cliaplcr 29, as «listrict magistrate to
that which concerns the jurisdictions attributed
by the laws of the Parlement of Canada to the
magistrates of the «listrict that these jurisdictions
be attributed to them under the title
"Magistrate" or under that of "District Magistrate",
with residence in the city of Montreal
or in the vicinity, the said Mr. J. Alfred Crowe,
by his present appointment by the Lieutenant-
Governor in Council as «listrict jinlgc, being
authorized to exercise, under the authority of
pagagraph (b) of section 466 of the Criminal
Code, starting from August 15, 1965, the
jurisdiction of a magistrate under Part XVI of
the Criminal Code.

l'effet de décréter l'exercice de la fonction de
