Pour chaque hausse de 1.0 point dans l'indice fédéral des Prix à la consommation en prenant comme base l'indice de 120.4 points, tous les employés doivent recevoir une augmentation comme suit: $0.80 par semaine pour les hommes et $0.65 par semaine pour les femmes." 8° L'article VIII est remplacé par le suivant: "VIII. Dispositions diverses: a) Tout travail doit être rémunéré en espèces ou en chèque au moins une fois par semaine, le vendredi. b) Les détails suivants doivent être communiqués aux employés avec leur paye: 1. le nom et le prénom de l'employé; 2. la date et la période de la paye; 3. le taux de salaire; 4. le temps supplémentaire; 5. les déductions faites; '6. le montant net payé. c) Tout employeur est tenu de donner à un employé qui le quitte et qui en fait la demande, une lettre attestant la nature et la durée de son travail à son service. d) Les salaires qui, lors de l'entrée en vigueur du présent décret sont supérieurs à ceux déterminés dans ledit décret ne peuvent être réduits de quelque manière que ce soit à l'occasion de sa mise en vigueur ou pendant sa durée. e) Tout employeur doit reconnaître les années d'expérience de ses employés et fixer, lors de la mise en vigueur du présent décret, leur salaire, s'il est inférieur aux taux minima établis, d'après leur expérience déjà acquise. /) L'employé qui exécute plus d'une fonction ou genre de travail faisant l'objet du présent décret doit recevoir le salaire déterminé pour l'occupation la mieux rémunérée pourvu qu'il y consacre plus de 50% de son temps. g) Il est interdit, en convenant d'un salaire plus élevé que celui fixé par le présent décret, de stipuler que le supplément peut servir à acquitter tout montant dû par l'employeur pour travail supplémentaire. 9 L'article IX est remplacé par le suivant "IX. Durée du décret: Le décret est valable à compter du jour de sa publication dans la Gazette officielle de Québec et demeure en vigueur jusqu'au 1er mars 1958. All employees are entitled to an increase in wages of $0.80 per week in the case of male employees and of $0.65 per week in the case of female employees for every rise of 1.00 point in the Federal Consumer Price Index, taking the 120.4 point index as a basis." 8. Section VIII is replaced by the following: "VIII. Miscellaneous provisions: a) Work shall be paid for in cash or by cheque at least once a week, on Friday. b) The following details shall be given with the employees' pay : 1. the full name of the employee; 2. the date and period of payment; 3. the wage rate; 4. overtime; 5. the deductions made; 6. the net amount paid. c) Every employer shall give to an employee who leaves him, and who so requests, a letter stating the nature and duration of services while in his employ. d) Wages which, at the time of the coming into force of the present decree, are higher than those herein determined shall not be reduced in any way, at the time of its coming into force or later on for its entire duration. e) Every employer shall take into account the years of experience of his employees and, at the time of the coming into force of the present decree, determine their wages should they be lower than the minimum ones established according to their experience. /) The employee committed to more than one function or kind of work governed by the present decree shall receive the highest wage rate determined for such occupations providing he spends more than 50% of his working time in such occupation. g) It is prohibited, when agreeing upon a wage rate higher than that determined by the present decree, to stipidate that the excess may be used to pay any amount owed by the employer for overtime." 9. Section IX is replaced by the following: "IX. Duration of the decree: The decree comes into force on the date of its publication in the Quebec Official Gazette and remains in full effect until March 1, 1958. It then renews itself automatically from year to year unless either contracting party notifies

IL EST ORDONNÉ, sur la proposition de l'honorable Ministre du Travail: QUE le décret numéro 315 du 27 mars 1957, relatif aux photographes professionnels des Cantons de l'Est, soit corrigé en remplaçant le paragraphe "6" de l'article IX par le suivant: u b) Il est permis aux employeurs d'embaucher au maximum deux (2) employés à temps partiel pour photographier en dehors du studio les mariages, les réceptions, etc., pourvu que ces employés possèdent au moins leur certificat de qualification de photofinisscur." CONCERNING amendments of the decree relating to the barbering and hairdressing trades in the town of Magog and a radius of eight (8) miles from its limits. ATTENDU QUE, conformément aux dispositions de la Loi de la convention collective (Statuts refondus de Québec 1941, chapitre 163 et amendements), le Comité paritaire des barbiers et coiffeurs du comté dc Stanstead a présenté au •Ministre du Travail une requête à l'effet de soumettre à l'appréciation et à la décision du Lieutenant-gouverneur en Conseil, certaines modifications au décret numéro 254 du 5 mars 1953, amendé par l'arrêté en conseil numéro 665-E du 15 juin 1955, relatif aux métiers de barbier, coiffeur et coiffeuse dans la ville de Magog et un rayon de huit (8) milles de ses limites; ATTENDU QUE ladite requête a été publiée dans la Gazette officielle de Québec, édition du 13 avril 1957; ATTENDU Qu'aucune objection n'a été formulée contre l'approbation des modifications proposées; WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Collective Agreement Act (R.S.Q. 1941, chapter 163 ami amendments), the Barbers and Hairdressers Parity Committee for the county of Stanstead has petitioned the Minister of Labour to submit to the consideration and decision of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council some amendments to the decree No. 254 of March 5th, 1953, amended by Order in Council No. 665-E of June 15, 1955, relating to the barbering and hairdressing trades in the town of Magog and a radius of eight (8) miles from its limits; WHEREAS the petition has been published in the Quebec Official Gazette, issue of April 13,1957; WHEREAS no objection has been made against the approval of the proposed amendments;
