Child Abuse Reporting Procedures<br />

Although IRT does not specifically serve children, all staff members are mandated to report any<br />

suspected child abuse that they become aware of during the course of their professional duties,<br />

including information gleaned from otherwise confidential therapy sessions. Information of this<br />

nature should be brought to the attention of IRT Administration for consultation prior to<br />

reporting. In the event an IRT Administrator is not available, specific procedures are in place<br />

and reports can be made by phone to:<br />
