NEW CRIMES On 10/08/2009, a unknown white male, possibly in early to mid 20’s, driving a white in color work van removed a Goodman A/C unit from a vacant residence located in “The Village” in Stem. On 10/11/2009, two unknown black males assaulted and robbed the store clerk in the parking lot of Providence Grocery. The suspect(s) used a tire-iron and assaulted the clerk. Suspect(s) left on Old 75 driving a faded red/burgundy in color van. On 10/13/2009, unknown person(s) broke into a residence located on Old 75 near Providence and removed a Mossberg pump shotgun, ammunition, and accessories. On 10/12/2009, unknown person(s) broke into a utility trailer in Stem and removed several fishing rods and a Marine Corp. flag. On 9/21/09 a larceny of a white 1997 Nissan Maxima occurred from 1643 Saratoga St. Creedmoor, NC. Anyone with any information please contact Crime Stoppers at 919-693-3100. Investigating officer, Capt. D. M. Grissom. On 9/17/09 a Kawasaki red in color red recreational vehicle was reported taken from the 8800 Cassam Rd. Bahama, NC. On 9/18/09 there was a Home Invasion at 3511 Watkins Wilkerson Road, Oxford This was reported about 12:30 a.m. by an 80 year old lady that was in bed asleep On October 20, 2009 Butner Public Safety officers responded to an alarm activation at Bible Baptist Church on Gate 2 Rd. Butner, NC. The officers who arrived on the scene found a broken window. Investigation lead to the arrest of (44) year old Gary Lee Alston of 410 Liberty St. Durham, NC. Mr. Alston was found walking north on I-85. Suspect was trying to obtain a ride to Henderson when officers apprehended him. Mr. Alston was charged with Breaking and Entering of a Religious Place of Worship. Magistrate Pearce issued a $5000.00 secured bond. On October 18, 2009 (26) year old Hernan Ramirez of 800 E. C. St. Lot 28 Butner, NC was arrested for DWI. Magistrate issued a $1000.00 secured bond. Lt. Parrott was the arresting officer. On October 17, 2009 (35) year old Joseph Drauss of 1024 High Fox Dr. Durham NC was arrested for a DWI. Magistrate Roberts issued a $500.00 secure bond. Lt. Parrott was the arresting officer. On October 17, 2009 (47) year old James Barnard of 925 Alma St., Durham NC was arrested for Shoplifting and at the time. The Toyota 4-Runner has Butner Public Safety Crimes 2nd Degree Trespassing. Magistrate Roberts issued a $1500.00 secure bond. Lt. Parrott was the arresting officer. On October 17, 2009 (23) year old Oswaldo Santos of 414 Watson St., Creedmoor NC on DWI and No Operator’s License. Magistrate Knott issued a $1000.00 secure bond. Lt. Parrott was the arresting officer. On October 17, 2009 (22) year old Eric Palomo of 1698 Suitt Store Rd. Franklinton, NC was arrested for DWI and Possession of an Open Container. Magistrate Knott issued a $1000.00 secure bond. PSO Perry was the arresting officer. On October 12, 2009 (48) year old Curtis E. Faulkner of W.B. Clark Rd. Lot 12 was arrested for Breaking & Entering, Larceny and Possession of Stolen Goods. Magistrate Roberts, Jr. issued a $20,000.00 secure bond. PSO Bryant was the arresting officer. On October 7, 2009 (45) year old Dena Hayes of 400 Grove Street Oxford, NC was arrested for DWI. Magistrate Brummitt issued a $1000.00 been seen in South Hill, VA being driven by the man shown in the attached photo. PSO Long was the arresting officer. On October 5, 2009 a Breaking & Entering and Larceny was reported at 1701 West B. St. Butner NC. On October 6, 2009 Butner Public Safety officers responded to a Disturbance call at 1715 West B. St. Officers on the scene saw a medication bottle belonging to the victim of 1701 West. B. St. Officer Vaughn obtained a search warrant for the residence. The search warrant lead to the recovery of the victim’s property and the arrest of (24) year old Brian Lee Declue. PSO Vaughn was the arresting officer. A $20,000 secured bond was issued for Mr. Declue by Magistrate Brummitt. Further investigation of the case led to the arrest of (24) year old Chad W. Mulchi also of 1715 West B. St. A $15,000.00 secure bond was issued for Mr. Mulchi. Capt. D.M. Grissom was the arresting officer. Both subjects were charged with Breaking & Entering, Larceny and Possession of Stolen Goods.
