An educational program
entitled “Irregular Uterine
Bleeding” will be held
Tuesday, November 10 from 6-
7 pm in South Campus
Meeting Room 133 at the
Vance Granville Community
ollege, 1547 South Campus
Drive in Creedmoor.
The guest speaker will be
Dr. Netasha McLawhorn.
A free dinner will be
served at 6 p.m. along with Dr.
McLawhorn’s presentation
followed by a question and
answer period.

BENEFIT SALE
A community yard sale
will be held Saturday, Nov.
14th from 7 a.m. to 12 noon at
the Butner-Stem Elementary
School park-ing lot.
Those wishing to reserve
a spot may bring $10 to the
school’s front office. Proceeds
from the registration fee will
benefit the 5th graders’ trip to
Washington, DC.
SILENT AUCTION
The Center For Living
invites friends to attend the
Silent Auction Program to
benefit families in Granville
County. The program will be
Saturday, November 14th
from 9 AM to Noon at the
EMS Building on Hwy 56
West in Creedmoor.
Donations of $15.00 per
person are suggested for a
buffet breakfast.
HARVEST DAY
The Pleasant Grove
Baptist Church Harvest Day
will be held Saturday, Nov.
14th. Lunch starts at 11:30
a.m. with a craft auction to
follow at 1:00 p.m.
Lunch will be an all-youcan-eat
barbecue chicken,
Brunswick stew, slaw,
hushpuppies, and homemade
pie, all for $7.00.
Take out plates are also
available for $7.00. Stew will
be sold by the quart costs
$6.00.

PLANS
The Creedmoor Chamber
of Commerce is in the process
of planning the Creedmoor
Christmas Parade scheduled
to be on December 5th.
If you would like to place
an entry in the parade, please
call 528-0506 or 528-1466 to
get your name on the list. The
parade will start at 11 a.m.
and proceed down Main
Street.
The Christmas Tree
Lighting will be at 7 p.m. on
December 4th at Lake Rogers.
The Mustang Melodies from
Mt. Energy School will be
singing at this event.
