Abstract. In this paper there is experimental research developed, on<br />

how does the pitch of sinuous fin, on the air side, influence the thermic<br />

transfer coefficient and pressure drop. The results have been generalized<br />

and the Colburn curves have been plotted according to Reynolds, and the<br />

friction coefficient according to Reynolds.<br />

Abstract. This paper presents a method of analysis of the exergy<br />

destruction on each component of a vapor compression refrigeration<br />

system during the transient regimes of functioning. Using experimental<br />

data, one calculated the exergy destruction as a function of time under<br />

the influence of some factors that perturb the stationary regime, as the<br />

deactivation of a piston, the variation of the mass flow rate and of the<br />

initial temperature of the cooled fluid, the diminution of the compressor<br />

speed.<br />
