Samuel Saurer?In 1849 he married Miss Gertrude Cooper of Sugar Creek Township, Wayne County, and by this union<br />

there are four children, viz.:?Josephine, now Mrs. John Lugenguhl, of Dalton, Ohio;<br />

Researcher's note: I'm not sure this belongs to the same family of <strong>Luginbuhl</strong>s that are found in Holmes County.<br />

BACKGROUND: Further research on the Peter and Maria Stram <strong>Luginbuhl</strong> family<br />

OBJECTIVES:<br />

1.Retrieve deed / land records mentioned in last report, but not sent or transcribed.<br />

REPOSITORIES: Holmes County Library, Millersburg, OH<br />

LIMITATIONS: None at this time<br />

ANALYSIS: The deeds that were copied this time were mostly quitclaim deeds from the children of Peter <strong>Luginbuhl</strong> ?<br />

selling? their property to their brother Frederick <strong>Luginbuhl</strong>. These heirs at law were scattered over the country,<br />

including Michigan, Texas and Nebraska as well as several different counties in Ohio. These are quitclaim deeds are<br />

recorded in Volume 42 pages 44 through 50.<br />

In Volume 63, pages 142 through 145 there are more quitclaim deeds from what appears to be a second generation,<br />
