Eva Ree <strong>Snodgrass</strong>. 79, a resident of Lincoln, died March 1,<br />

1988, at Prairie Grove. She was born August 19, 1908, at<br />

Lincoln, the daughter of Jerome and Lucy Rebecca Martin<br />

Carter.<br />

She was a member of the Summers Baptist Church.<br />

Survivors are one son Paul of the home; two daughters Eva<br />

Marie Strickler of Lincoln and Linda Springston of<br />

Fayetteville: two brothers. Lloyd Carter of Lincoln, and<br />

Mike Carter of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters, Marriet Fidler<br />

of Prairie Grove, and Scree Starfish of Mansfield, OH: three<br />

grandchildren, Rebecca Allen of Hot Springs. Randall<br />

Stickler of Tulsa and Amanda Swearingen of Fayetteville.<br />

Funeral services were Wednesday, March 2, 10 a.rn. at the<br />

Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, by Rev. Ernest<br />

Meadows, with burial in Lincoln Cemetery at Lincoln.<br />

September 13, 1935---May 31, 2000. Paul Dean <strong>Snodgrass</strong>,<br />

of Prairie Grove. died May 31, 2000, at Medi Homes<br />

Nursing I lomc, in Prairie Grove.<br />

Born September 13, 1935, in La Harbor, California, he was<br />

the son of Bert, and Eva Ree Carter <strong>Snodgrass</strong>. He was a<br />

member of the Baptist Church.<br />

Survivors include two sisters, Eva Marie Cheek, of Fairhope,<br />

Alabama, and Linda Springston, of Farmington, Arkansas.<br />

Services were held Friday, June 2, 2000, at Luginbuel<br />

Chapel. in Prairie Grove, with Ernest Meadows officiating.<br />

Burial followed at Lincoln Cemetery, in Lincoln.<br />

Homer Lawson <strong>Snodgrass</strong> Sr., 87, of Lincoln died Sunday<br />

(25 Dec 1983) in a Fayetteville Hospital. He was born<br />

January 18, 1896 in Lincoln, Arkansas the son of Thomas<br />

Lafayette <strong>Snodgrass</strong> and John Dee Nurmley <strong>Snodgrass</strong>. he<br />

was a member of the First Baptist Church and a V cteran of<br />

World War I. He was a charter member of the American<br />

Legion Post 1 71 and had held membership for 65 years: a 63<br />

year member of the Lincoln Masonic Lodge 615. the<br />

Western Scottish Rites Body for 21 years and the Lincoln<br />

Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star for 55 years. He<br />

retired in 1961 from the Arkansas Highway Department<br />

having served as foreman in this area.<br />

three sisters. Mrs. Pearl Johnston of Lodi California, Mrs.<br />

Elsie Pasley and Mrs. Muriel Leach both of Lincoln; five<br />

grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.<br />

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Lincoln First<br />

Baptist Church with burial in the National Cemetery at<br />

Fayetteville under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.<br />

I Document 10.36. Obituary for Wilson Lafayette <strong>Snodgrass</strong>.<br />

Wilson Lafayette <strong>Snodgrass</strong>, 62, of Summers, Arkansas died<br />

Thursday January 22. 1981 at his home. Born October 29.<br />

1918. at Lincoln. the son of William J. and Mary Little<br />

<strong>Snodgrass</strong>, he was a farmer, a Baptist, a veteran of WW II, a<br />

member of the American Legion Beaty Bibb Post 171, and<br />

the VFW.<br />

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pauline Davis <strong>Snodgrass</strong> of<br />

the home; one brother, Ambrose <strong>Snodgrass</strong> of Summers;<br />

five sisters, Mrs. Clara Risley of Lincoln, Mrs. Geneva<br />

McCrdtic of Morrow, Mrs. Jeanette Green of Red Field, and<br />

Mrs. Ruth Jones and Mrs. Dorothy, Flannery, both of<br />

Oakley, Calif.<br />

Funeral services were held January 22, at 2 p.m. Saturday at<br />

the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel in Prairie Grove with burial in<br />

Lincoln Cemetery.<br />

Document 10.37. Obituary for Ruth Katherine Corley<br />

<strong>Snodgrass</strong>.<br />

Ruth Catherine <strong>Snodgrass</strong>, 90, of Tomball, Texas died<br />

November 6, 1989 at a Tomball Hospital, Born November 8,<br />

1898 at Magazine, Arkansas, she was the daughter of<br />

J.W.L., and Ludie Mae Hembree Corley, She was a member<br />

of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln, a member of Order of<br />

the Eastern Star, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American<br />

Legion. A son, Keith <strong>Snodgrass</strong> in 1978, preceded her in<br />

death.<br />

Survivors include a daughter, Francis Dee Logan of<br />

I Iouston, Texas: two brothers, Sebren Corley and James<br />

Corley both from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: two sisters,<br />

Ruby Myers of Lincoln and Joe Bob Shaw of Oklahoma<br />

City, Oklahoma: six grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren;<br />

and many nieces and nephews.<br />

Services will be Friday, November 10, 1989, 1:00 p.m. at<br />

First Baptist Church of Lincoln, officiated by Bro. Terrell<br />

Gordon, with burial in the National Cemetery at Fayetteville,<br />

Arkansas.<br />

I Document 10.38. Obituary for Thomas Keith <strong>Snodgrass</strong>.<br />

Survivors are a son, Homer Lawson <strong>Snodgrass</strong> Jr. of<br />

Lincoln; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Howard and Mrs. Mary<br />

Etta Wilhite, both of Lincoln; two brothers, Claude of<br />

Sacramento, California, and Bruce of Guthrie, Oklahoma;<br />

Thomas Keith <strong>Snodgrass</strong>, 56; of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,<br />

died Thursday, March 9, 1978 at the Veterans<br />

Administration Hospital. He was born October 7, 1921 in<br />

Lincoln, Arkansas. <strong>Snodgrass</strong>, a native of Lincoln,<br />
