ENVIRONMENTAL APPLICATIONS OF MACHINE LEARNING
◆ Date> 27 September – 1 October 2004
◆ Place> Bled, Slovenia
◆ Aimed at> Ecological modelling is concerned with
the development and use of mathematical, computer
and simulation models of ecoszstems. It is a
relativelz zoung scientific discipline, which is
rapidlz gaining importance, especiallz because of
the use and usefullness of ecological models for
researchers from the areas of ecologz, ecological
modelling and environmental sciences, on
one hand, and the areas of data analzsis, data
