Planned audit trail reports
Standard report templates are available allowing the user to created ad hoc of
planned reports based on the audit trail of system activity (log) data in PDF
format, for example. Reports may also be generated from the archived data.
Mandatory comments for user actions
For projects in a critical environment, the user must enter a comment (reason) for
each change made on the management station, before the change is executed.
Multiple comments are possible for the same actions (or log entry), and comments
can no longer be changed once they are entered.
Archived data integrity using checksum verification
The DESIGO INSIGHT archive server generates a complex MD5 checksum for
each produced archive file. All viewers that want to display the data from archives
are asked to verify the checksum as soon as the archive files are opened. The
verification results are displayed to the user.
All GxP critical data from the DESIGO INSIGHT log, trend and audit trail
databases can either be archived in non-proprietary readable XML format or
secured using the MD5 checksum. The data archived in XML format can than be
viewed as a standard in DESIGO INSIGHT applications such as the Trend Viewer,
Log Viewer or Database Audit Trail Viewer.
