The <strong>DESIGO</strong> S7 Library consists of a HVAC block library based on the proven<br />
<strong>DESIGO</strong> applications concept and functionality of the <strong>DESIGO</strong> PX firmware library<br />
as well as the HVAC compound library. The compound library includes<br />
preconfigured, documented and tested applications as the basis for project-specific<br />
applications.<br />

In addition to using existing SIMATIC S7 and tools together with the CP 343-1<br />
BACnet communication processor, the market performance package also includes:<br />

SIMATIC S7 <strong>automation</strong> station<br />
The modular <strong>automation</strong> station for all industrial plants as well as for HVAC<br />
applications for industry and infrastructure. The modular, fan-free design, simple<br />
implementation of distributed structures, and user-friendliness of SIMATIC S7<br />
make it the convenient and cost-effective solution for a wide range of functions.<br />
Several CPUs with different levels of performance, plus an extensive range of<br />
modules with numerous convenient functions enable the user to select only the<br />
modules actually required for the application concerned. If the required function is<br />
later extended, the <strong>automation</strong> station can simply be upgraded as required, by<br />
adding further modules.<br />
A SIMATIC S7 <strong>system</strong> comprises:<br />
• A central processing unit (CPU): Different CPUs are available for various<br />
performance ranges, to some extent, CPUs with integrated PROFINET or<br />
PROFIBUS DP interfaces.<br />
• Signal modules (SM) for digital and analog inputs and outputs.<br />
• Communication modules (CP) for bus coupling and point-to-point connections.<br />
• Power supply modules (PS) for connection of the SIMATIC S7 to a supply voltage<br />
of AC 120/230 V or DC 24 V.<br />
