Finding SELF - 1

Finding SELF (or LIFE ) is as difficult and challenging as
Finding GOD. The most fundamental mystery of all is “That we
Exist “. Most mysterious in this Universe is the phenomenon of
LIFE. What does it mean to believe in SELF, Jiva, SOUL, LIFE,
ATMA, Chetana ,Spirit or Living being in today’s Modern Scientific
World?. Is it possible to carryout the following analysis through
accepted scientific instruments alone without any dependence
or references to any of the Theologies. Scientists some how do
not hold humans (or Life in general ) are outside the natural order
and so exempt from the scope of science. We could present the
case for LIFE within the framework of natural science. It appears
we can get an access to “LIFE” to carry out the following required
analysis.

What is “Life”?. How do we Define or describe Life
or Living being.
Can we Test to prove or falsify “Living Being”
hypothesis?
What are it’s basic and specific attributes?.

Is it a Natural or a Supernatural entity?. ( GOD is
known to be supernatural…)
Is it entirely different from Achetana or only a special
form of Achetana.?
What does it mean to exist or perceive the world
around?.
Different Theologies propose and restrict the findings to their
own scriptures. Study of SELF or LIFE carries special emphasis
in our philosophical world. (c"pS"z {` G"v\"X"s˜¡X"o...) Each one holds highly
divergent view including modern science and it seems there is no
meeting point. Nearly every religion posits some sort of hidden,
immaterial realm which exists behind the visible, physical, and
material realm in which we live. Often we are supposed to be
partaking in this immaterial realm because who we "really" are is
defined by an immaterial, immortal soul. This immaterial realm is
