Please read the following guidelines before completing the application form<br />
One of the principle objectives of the trust is to give scholarship to deserving poor Madhva<br />
Students for pursuing their education in PUC. The Nidhi <strong>Trust</strong> has accordingly decided to<br />
award subject to the Rules framed in this behalf, financial assistance in the form of<br />
scholarship etc., to eligible students belonging to Madhwa Community. Scholarship will be<br />
awarded to eligible students subject to the rules framed in this behalf.<br />
Applicants should necessarily meet the following criteria:<br />
• Gross family income should be less than 60,000 Per Annum<br />
• Students aspiring to take up science groups should have scored more than 85% in<br />
SSLC examination.<br />
• Students aspiring to take up other than science groups should have scored more<br />
than 65% in SSLC examination.<br />
• Students completed in 1 st PUC (Science Groups) should have scored more than 80%<br />
• Students completed in 1 st PUC (Other than Science Groups) should have scored<br />
more than 60%<br />
No application will be considered without attested copies of the following documents:<br />
• Character certificate.<br />
• An Eligibility Certificate obtained from two respected members of the Madhwa<br />
Society residing in the applicant’s area stating that the candidate is eligible for<br />
scholarship on account of his poverty.<br />
• Bonafide studentship Certificate from the College.<br />
• Proof of Income Certificate/Pay Slip of Parent/Guardian.<br />
• Marks Certificate obtained in SSLC Examination.<br />
• Receipts of fees paid.<br />
Note:<br />
• Nidhi has limited resources. Hence, quantum of scholarship will be decided every<br />
year depending on availability of funds and also number of applications received.<br />
• Boy Student should compulsorily learn Sandhya Vandane and Sri Hari<br />
Vayustuthi with in next Financial Aid Year.<br />
• Girl Student should compulsorily learn Lakshmi Shobane or Two Sandhi’s of<br />
Hari Kathamrutha Sara within next Financial Aid Year.<br />
• Nidhi Volunteers may visit for verifications of information given in application.<br />
• The Nidhi (<strong>Trust</strong>) shall thereupon as soon as possible consider the application and<br />
decide upon the nature and extent conditions of the financial assistance to be<br />
awarded to the applicant.<br />
• The Nidhi reserves the right to award scholarships to eligible students and the<br />
decision of the Sanctioning Authority is final.<br />
• Cheques will be distributed at Uttaradhi Math branches in respective places,<br />
students need to show their college ID Card to collect the same.<br />
• Time and location of distribution of cheques will be intimated through letter<br />
• Students who have availed donation from JSPN for the last financial year<br />
should give test on Sadhya Vandane or Vayusthuthi for Boys and Lakshmi<br />
Shobane or Harikathamrutha Sara for Girls<br />
