Innledning Introduction
2007 Norwegian Black List
til oversikt på Norsk Polarinstitutt sin nettside (http://
miljo.npolar.no/mis/mainPages/frames/arter.htm).
Informasjon om avgrensninger innen hver artsgruppe
finnes i kapitlet ”Arbeidet i ekspertgruppen”.
lovdata.no/all/hl-19930402-038.html) and this determines
how organisms whose genes have been artificially
modified are to be treated when it comes to their release
in the wild, for example, and also which genetic modifications
are to be permitted.
Species which, for the most part, have accompanied
human beings are those of which we have had
direct benefit. Domesticated species have consequently
achieved extensive global dispersal. Livestock and cultivated
plants are not included in the present lists of alien
species, with the exception of cultivated plants that have
been observed to have run wild outside the cultivated
areas. Pets, experimental animals and indoor plants are
not included either.
Apart from the sibling vole
(Microtus rossiaemeridionalis), we have also excluded
alien species in Svalbard, on Bjørnøya (Bear Island) and
on Jan Mayen for the moment. The Norwegian Polar
Institute web page (http://miljo.npolar.no/mis/main-
Pages/frames/arter.html) has an overview of alien species
in Svalbard.
Information on delimitations within each group of
species can be found in the chapter ”The work by the
team of experts”.
