the provincial policies.
3.5. Conclusion
This section analysed the impact of various policies and legislature on national and provincial level
by means of a policy review. It should be noted that the review undertaken is not a full review, but
rather focused on the challenges and implications relating to this report. In addition, the policies
and legislation included in this literature review are not specifically designed for the poultry industry
itself; however, the literature review should provide the backdrop and influence the process of
establishing cooperatives in the poultry industry.
