<strong>Weatherford</strong>’s ArrowTherm mechanical-set, thermal packer isolates the<br />
annulus from the production conduit for high-temperature steam injection,<br />
cyclic steam stimulation, and geothermal production wells. The double-grip<br />
packer requires only a one-quarter turn to set and release it. The rotational<br />
safety release disengages the expansion joint from the packer.<br />
The standard packing system is rated to 550°F (288°C). The packer holds<br />
up to a 3,000-psi (20,684-kPa) pressure differential from above and below.<br />

• Wire-mesh debris barriers on the expansion joint eliminate seal extrusion.<br />
• The field-adjustable shear safety release enables retrieval if the packer<br />
cannot be retrieved normally, saving rig time.<br />
Options<br />
• Optional element and seal configurations are available up to 650°F<br />
(343°C).<br />
• An optional port provides circulation when the expansion joint is stroked<br />
out.<br />
• An optional integral expansion joint eliminates the need for a separate<br />
expansion joint above the packer.
