At this point, I want to acknowledge all those who helped me during this work,
including the ones I will forget to include in this list:
First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to Prof. Lux-Steiner for the
great interest in my work and for all the discussions and suggestions to my thesis.
I would also like to thank Prof. Brewer for his interest in this work and for its

My particular thanks go to my supervisor Dr. Friedhelm Finger, for his attention
and patience guiding my work from the very beginning till writing the manuscript.
I gratefully acknowledge his support in the discussion of ideas and results as well
