colapsando, lo cual produciría una incurvación anterior de la columna con la<br />

consecuente restricción respiratoria y con la posibilidad de nuevas fracturas por<br />

alteración del eje de equilibrio. En la Figura 3 podemos ver una de las formas<br />

más fáciles de clasificar el tipo de fractura vertebral de acuerdo al grado y tipo<br />

de afectación, siendo ésta una guía efectiva para el tratamiento. Podemos ver<br />

además su correlación con TAC para evaluar el verdadero compromiso del<br />

cuerpo vertebral.<br />
