colapsando, lo cual produciría una incurvación anterior de la columna con la
consecuente restricción respiratoria y con la posibilidad de nuevas fracturas por
alteración del eje de equilibrio. En la Figura 3 podemos ver una de las formas
más fáciles de clasificar el tipo de fractura vertebral de acuerdo al grado y tipo
de afectación, siendo ésta una guía efectiva para el tratamiento. Podemos ver
además su correlación con TAC para evaluar el verdadero compromiso del
cuerpo vertebral.
