As we reach a decade of conferences from The Diabetic Foot Journal, it is clear
that the need for integrated diabetes foot care is greater than ever. A foot ulcer
is a serious diabetes complication but is also much more. It is a marker for death,
disability and advanced diabetes complications throughout the whole of the person
with diabetes, and not just in the feet. This year’s conference will help everyone who
treats diabetes patients with foot problems, or manages services, to take a broader,
more holistic view of healing ulceration and improving the lives of our patients.
