Wyangala Dam is an oasis in the middle of the<br />
Central West. With a water storage capacity<br />
in excess of 1,217,000 megalitres, 2.5 times<br />
the volume of Sydney Harbour, the catchment<br />
area measures 8,300 square kilometres. Visitors<br />
from all over the state soak up the stunning<br />
rural landscape on the north-east shores of Lake<br />
Wyangala at <strong>Grabine</strong> <strong>Lakeside</strong> <strong>State</strong> Park.<br />

Only a couple of hours drive from Canberra, or<br />
about four hours from Sydney, <strong>Grabine</strong> <strong>Lakeside</strong><br />
is 83kms north-west of the Southern Tablelands<br />
town of Crookwell. Centrally located between<br />
Goulburn, Bathurst and Cowra, it is 122kms<br />
from Goulburn via the Bigga Road.<br />
