PRESIDENT’S APPEAL
Gentlemen
Your Association needs members with long arms, and
short pockets!
Do not turn the page!!!!!
The Old Scarborians Association needs funds to continue
the twice yearly issue of Summer Times and to
continue to meet the Web site costs.
The production and delivery of two issues of Summer
Times a year, and the hosting costs of the web site,
costs approximately £1,600 a year, and other than a
few membership fees each year the Association is dependent
on donations to survive.
I am sure you will all agree with me that the magazines,
and web site, are superb links without which
the contact between us all would slowly wither and
die.
Over the years a number of members have kindly donated
funds and during the last few months donations
were made that covered the costs of this issue. For
these the committee is very grateful.
Please read the pieces that follow by the Secretary,
Treasurer and Editor for greater detail.
If you feel, as an individual, or as a firm, that you can
help us finance the future of the OSA then please give
generously - every tenner helps!
