Supervised installation of a 12.5 kWp solar array, hybridized to an existing diesel power plant on<br />

Mandhoo Island in the Maldives.<br />

- Managed the installation of 8,700 solar home lighting systems and distribution of 6,000 solar lanterns for<br />

Tata BP Solar in Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, under a LREDA/MNES subsidised programme. This included<br />

overall programme management, quality control and on-site inspections.<br />

- Managed the installation of solar pumping systems in the Punjab and Tamil Nadu under an IREDA<br />

contract. This included surveying of all the sites and subsequently installing the systems, providing onthe-job<br />

training for the responsible technicians and end-users. Under this programme over 500 solar<br />

pumping systems have been installed by AURORE.<br />

- Design, installation and maintenance of customized solar PV systems ranging from 35 Wp up to 5 kWp<br />

for clients inside and outside Auroville, as well as installation and servicing of Evacuated Tube Collector<br />

(ETC) solar water heating systems.<br />

-Managed the crash installation and maintenance programme of 1200 vaccine refrigeration systems in<br />

Bihar, India, under a WHO contract in support of the international polio eradication campaign.<br />

-Managed the installation of 30 solar refrigeration systems in Arunachal Pradesh, India, under a UNICEF<br />

contract. This included surveying of all the sites and subsequently installing the systems, providing onthe-job<br />

training for the responsible technicians and end-users.

Colombia, Albania, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Zaire / DRC and Rwanda.<br />

In addition, worked on Oxfam Logistic Handbook as well as standardisation of equipment.<br />
