32 RBIs made her just the 21st player in school<br />

history to post 30-plus runs batted in for a single<br />

season… Hit her first collegiate grand slam and<br />

totaled eight RBIs in Canisius’ 16-5 win over<br />

Norfolk State… Recorded her second grand<br />

slam of the season against Manhattan… Ranked<br />

third on the team in slugging percentage (.456),<br />

hits (38) and total bases (62)… Recorded seven<br />

multi-hit games and posted two RBIs in four different outings…<br />

Had a seaon-long seven-game hitting streak from April 14-22…<br />

Hit .348 (16-for-46) with 13 RBIs, five doubles, a homer and eight<br />

runs scored in 16 games against MAAC opponents… One of six<br />

Canisius players to be named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team.<br />

2006: Started in all 51 games as a rookie… Was named second-team<br />

All-MAAC by the conference’s coaches… Ranked second on the<br />

team with her .265 batting average (39-for-147) with 12 doubles, a<br />

triple, a homer and 18 RBIs… Hit .400 (20-for-50) with six doubles<br />

and 13 runs batted in against conference rivals… Picked up her first<br />

college hit, a double, in her second collegiate at-bat against Norfolk<br />

State… Had nine multi-hit games, highlighted by a three-hit outing<br />

against Fairfield… Hit her first college homer in the second game of<br />

a MAAC doubleheader with Fairfield… Took a career-longest ninegame<br />

hitting streak into the MAAC Tournament… Was honored for<br />

her work in the classroom by being named an NFCA Scholar-Athlete<br />

after the season. Before Canisius: Attended Santa Catalina School<br />

in Monterey, Calif., for her junior year of high school where she led<br />

the team to its first Mission Trail Athletic League title and postseason<br />

appearance in 24 years… Voted the MTAL Player of the Year and<br />

All-Monterey County as a catcher… Was among the county’s leaders<br />

in batting average, hits, home runs, extra-base hits and runs batted<br />

in… Played five years of club softball with the Salinas Storm and<br />

played in five ASA National Championship Tournaments, winning<br />

an ASA Western National title in 2000… Earned academic “high<br />

honor roll” all four years in high school. Personal: The daughter of<br />
